I always come at just the right time.  That being said, I'm usually early when ever I go someplace. Though I have on occasions slept through the alarm. Not being able to jot off a blog for the day...but I'm never late for work... well there was this morning...but I have a great excuse... reading one of my favorite bloggers posts...with all the photos... well I had to take care of something that popped up right? I couldn't very well go to work like that now could I? Have a good one Joy!

I'm rarely late for anything I deem important but if I am - it's usually with a good excuse. "I didn't feel like showing up, you're lucky 🍀 I'm here at all."😶 Of course, I don't REALLY say that. I always try to arrive slightly early for things. Lateness is not just a personal thing but also a cultural thing. Americans, not all obviously, are renowned for not being late. Europeans are sometimes late - there reputedly is a difference between Mediterranean countries and the rest of Europe. But in many countries in Africa, time means little.

Since you mentioned the squirrels. Be careful. Some of the wiring on vehicle's are made from peanut oil. The (wire coverings). squirrels love to chew them. It's expensive and most insurance doesn't cover it. Thanks for sharing. Have a Joyful Day.

I'm almost always early rather than late. I don't like others to hold me up so I don't want to make them wait for me.

I was brought up taught "If you are 15 minutes early, you're late." Still true today.

I am almost OCD about being early. On time is late to me. If needed an excuse would hope it would be for a quickie.

Ms. author51, "So Lovers. are you a Late Comer or were you born ready?" I am one of those people that is always early, this could be due to how I was raised and my first profession. I was taught that if you are not 15 minutes early, you're late. As I have been away from my first profession for over 20 years, I have slowed down a little. I am still early, but now it is by only 5 minutes or so. The only thing I dislike being on time for, are parties, then again I seldom go to parties so it is not that big of a deal.

Definitely born ready here. I hate to be late. Some of this was learned by having a boss who literally locked his door when a meeting started. He was in the military, which he explained his need for punctuality. He was a great boss by the way. I've learned to be flexible with latecomers. It used to bother me when someone was late, but now it's no big deal to me.

I make a point of being on time . Now I can't say that about my friends they think nothing of being late like they are some kind of movie star or ex president or something bigly . Nothing would burn my ass worse than to go to see a group play and by god they be late . I mean god damn the money to see them I didn't wait until the last minute to pay their sorry drugged out asses to lollygag and just prance their asses up on stage when they decide to take their own sweet time to get out on stage . Then they have to tune the fucking guitar my god wouldn't you think they have enough sense to know that when they get out on stage nobody wants to hear them plucking on that guitar making all sorts of racket . Makes me wish for the good old days when you could chuck a beer bottle up on stage to hurry them along .... I remember I went and saw one guy and he was late and then he comes out and plucks on his guitar then the son a bitch started talking some off the wall bullshit about politics . The crowd starts to hoop and holler like he is somebody saying something that really matters . I say get your ass up on stage and be ready to play the fucking music I came to hear .
