Thalia, Thank you for compiling the list of problems most of us have to deal with for a long time now. There is another problem that kept bugging me - sometimes I post a comment and it's there but after a few minutes what I check again it disappears. Hope, it'll be added to your list.

The way I hear it, the site has more or less always been one big conglomeration of glitches, but I was a member briefly in 2004, before the blogs. There were some glitches certainly. The senior bloggers will confirm I think that the site has always had technical issues. Of course I agree with all the things you've listed as problems, but over the years a lot of improvements have been made though, thing we take for granted. Early on, you couldn't comment on blogs- you had to respond with a blog post of your own. There weren't any tools to preview comments, or restrict viewership, block or ban. So you could not have posted a private message post even if you had wanted to. All these and many other things were in response to customer suggestion...and customer complaints! I get frustrated with site management just like any other member when things don't work, and when they're painfully slow like they are now. I like the tone of your post and I think it's the right tenor, but members here have been disappointed by site support for literally years. I hope site support will pay attention. As long as people are buying memberships they're happy. If I had known there was going to be so many issues, I would have stayed a standard member when I signed up 3 weeks ago.

Thank you for your post....there are too many problems to list.....It could be a really fun site if things worked right....one being messenger,,,,,it rarely works...I give up......have a nice evening ....

Yes, I am noticing it takes time to write comments..like this on blogs. I hope they can fix it. Thanks for reaching out to customer service

I've had alot of problems with chat not working at all. E-mails to notify me about notification are really if at all

The email has been acting up and often won't open at all, OR It will open up on my lap top on the desktop version but not on the phone, or vice versa. AND I am having problems with posts sticking. That is, I write a post and post it, and then it doesn't show. So I retrace my steps and try again, and it posts then. Not twice, just the once time. Weird, huh? AND it has been timing out on me when I go to make a moderated comment show up, and then again when I try to quote it and answer it. Thalia, Thanks for the reply to my previous post. I have been having most of those issues. Also the point system is screwed up too on Top Fans. Even when I am supposed to get 5 points for contacting someone I am a fan of, I either get 0 or 1. So I needlessly used up most of my points that I accumulated. I've never gotten the points to email within a 48 hour period, and for a while there, I was emailing 6 to 12 women per day. As a new user, I did get 3 new emails the day I signed up. Of course, as a standard member I couldn't read those emails, so I upgraded to gold to read them and those messages disappeared. When I do use the email system, I use it to send an introductory email before sending out friend requests. So even trying to make connections on here, is tedious. While I do use chat, I've "heard" other members in the chatroom either say the IM works and others say it doesn't. So it's a mixed bag. I can't tell if IM works or not. I've tried to use it with mostly negative results. My theory tends to lean toward theory that a woman I am trying to contact is getting a bunch of other guys contacting her, so she closes all the windows and only focuses on those (friends) she wants to talk to. So, for me, IM is pretty much anti-social, because I often see on the blogs or in chat, comments from women that some of the guys tend to be pervs or rude to the women on here and that puts guys like myself at a reasonable disadvantage. I can't change people's online behavior, nor will I, so I just deal with the situation at hand. Pictures do take a long time to post. The three photos that I do have of me on my profile took just under an an hour to upload, and I have a very fast internet connection. I've even had to re-upload them a couple times because they somehow got removed. I'm not asking for a refund, all I'm asking for is that I would like the site to give me my money's worth.

Here's another glitch I just come across: When filing out my "Life Questions" and on the questions with multiple answers, it only saved the first choice and discarded the others. I go back to edit my answers and click save and those edits don't get saved. And with that, I've been up all night because the site is slow.

I know posting images in the body of a blog is an ongoing issue. they seem to disappear. not always, but frequently. any help you can provide would be much appreciated. we You cannot conceive the many without the one.
