Amnesty International calls for Decriminlization of

I'm sure there are no sex workers on FriendFinder-x, just like there are no persons conducting any kind of a con game on FriendFinder-x. Still if there are those workers may be interested that Amnesty International called for the decimalization of . It in no way discouraged taking action against those trafficking , women, or men against their will.
In the 19th and 20th century existed in nearly every large American city and it certainly existed in the small city I live in now. There were multiple brothels. While I agree with many progressive programs the one against is highly questionable. The progressives used the fable of young white virgin girls being kidnapped into the white slavery trade. There was a big scandal in New York that drove out nearly all the brothels based on girls being kidnapped, but there never was a single kidnapping. It was not black, Latino Asian, American Indian, or men being kidnapped and being forced into the trade just white women. The story is in Policing Sexuality by Jessica Pliley. Of course everyone on this site would invoke the wrath of the Progressives and the Christian brethren who created the Mann act and empowered the FBI. They have yet to succeed as anyone driving down Highway 99 through Seattle and into Everett can see. Every city in America has a similar strip of highway even though a lot of the face to face meetings have become uncommon due to cell phones.
There was an article in the Seattle Times by the city prosecutor saying that Amnesty International support of decriminalization was disappointing and would not fly in Seattle. Of course what is the Prosecutor going to say since his job is to uphold the laws on the books. He talked about the use of the Nordic model whish is a myth in itself. In any case they arrest women and men for in Seattle. The question is whether the law should be changed to legalize the exchange of money for sex. Something that existed in Seattle for many years with fewer problems than today. Few women were assaulted and virtually none kidnapped into . The women were paid better and often treated better than factory workers of the day.Women were successful and did well of all races. There was no problem if those prostitutes were Asian or black in Seattle. Ohh white women are in the trade we have to protect them. Such protections did not extend to Asian, African American, Hispanic, or American Indian women who when sexually assaulted their cases did not merit investigation or prosecution.
I think it is time for lawmakers to decimalize sex work toward sex workers and their customers. The cure has been worse than the alleged disease it's tried to cure. It has been draconian and has not worked, and excessive even in light of the real negatives of the sex trade industry.
