NRE is like an intoxicating drunkenness that you know eventually will end in a hangover. Try as I might I can never prevent NRE for seeking resolution in an abrupt chaos.

I haven't met someone yet who wants to be in a polyamorous relationship, so I haven't had the opportunity to explore such an arrangement. The question, about myself, isn't the poly- half of the equation, but the -amory half. I don't think I"m mistaken in saying that this multiple relationship arrangement is indeed multiple relationships, and not multiple sexual partners, which means multiple emotional attachments. It's hard enough for me to get attached to anyone like that; I wonder if I'm capable of multiple attachments? And the risk of any romantic attachment is pain. Which means the possibility of multiple heartbreaks at once. I'm thinking I might not attach strongly to anyone, or very strongly to one and barely at all to anyone else. All academic for me at the moment. Smart as a horse and hung like Einstein.

And now I have Tiny Tim singing 'tip toe through the tulips' while playing his stupid ukulele running on a continuous loop in my head. Thank. You. Very. Much.

Hard to tip toe around honesty once it has been located. The treasure hunt is in the finding or, perhaps ,in the divulging (Virtual Symposium Group) use Virtual Symposium Group

Now I have an image of you tip-toeing in heavy, steel-toe boots, with the accompanying dinkydinkdink sound effect from Scooby Doo. As funny as this is there's also the anxiety and emotional brittleness {probably not the right word, but my thesaurus is old and tired this morning} of the new path you're going down. Have fun, Ginger!

Always best to learn from prior experience, and slow and steady is often the best plan. Naturally I'm hoping your fears are unfounded, but acknowledge they're origin. These harems (and reverse harems) teach us a bit of purposeful patience sometimes, but I look forward to also seeing how this chemistry between you two continues to build and what becomes of it (no matter what that may be). Best wishes, always. - Satyr Satyr in Sheep's Skin Peruse my many stories at Satyr39s Storybook Corner or my Renaissance Era BDSM fantasy story at Serial Story Reinport39s Crowning Index.
