Fair enough! If a profile is anything, it is just an introductory tool that may encourage further contact. It is very funny what some people imagine will work in this context. My personal bugbear is the demand that somebody has a current medical all clear std wise. If either party thinks the other could be carrying an STD, I would rather not play with them. The fact that one puts it about so much that you or they may be so afflicted would put me right off! maybe one should also ask to run a check for outstanding warrants, unsavoury society membership and drug use...

Jeezopeez, it's just shorthand to answer a few questions that may or may not be pertinent to a given reader. Filter by any criteria you see fit, like using a dick picture for a profile, or whatever, but no, my possession of a house and cars has nothing to do with luck, it means I work for what I want in my life, including a relationship.

Just to clarify... What men mean, when they say they say they are - "not into drama" , is a reference to the 'fake' drama created and fabricated by (either sex btw) people, who exaggerate the importance of mundane events. Similar to the 'bullshit drama' on this site - on occasion. People can host if they rent an apartment or a house, so home *ownership* is not necessary to be able to host. I don't necessarily see it as a bad thing to own a house and a car and say so, but posing with your Mercedes/Lexus/Porsche/Lamborghini is a form of bragging. If your possessions are the best thing about yourself you have to offer, I'd rather try someone else who offers a good character and a fun (for me) personality in an appealing physical package*. So yeah, what Ginger said, be a decent human being and relate to me as a fellow human being. * "appealing physical package" != tall and buff

Well, to step into the role of Ye Olde Devil's Advocate, it is possible that some people are trying to point out that not only can they host, but they can also travel. However, as you allude to, even if that was their intent, it does rather show a lack of imagination, as if Uber, taxis, buses, bikes, and other assorted means of transportation did not exist. Apply similarly for domestic dwellings and other assorted domiciles. And thus, the drama. Which I tend to prefer with a touch of darkly cynic comedy, a la Sock and Buskin.  (And yes, I will even wear the tights, for a good cause.)Even an herb as sweet as basil is nothing without its bite. Lord Basil
