Shims are a DIYer's, and a contractor's, best friend. I never leave a hardware store without a pack when getting ready for a project. You're most of the way towards replacing everything about those steps. Pre-fabbed side and a middle and boom!

I've got some workouts if you'd like for your rowing machine. Plenty of local clubs, too. Who knows... Might race you in Chattanooga or Oak Ridge.

Well done Ginger, I know how difficult those seemingly easy projects can be, as the owner of a 100 year old house, where nothing is square.

beautiful

now for the finish and, you're all done

or not

similar days

we went live today and, I was expecting everything to go wrong

but, nothing did

still, had to re-explain what was happening to the team as they build beautiful code, but, focus on the immediate picture, not the end to end result that must have "happy" customers

and, of course, it will start all over again

we use Q messenger & MS Teams & email & tspace drops and what not

but, it's all good, working remote gets the job done

hmm

stay safe

Fifth Harmony - "Work from Home"

I ain't worried 'bout nothin'
I ain't wearin' na nada
I'm sittin' pretty, impatient, but I know you gotta
Put in them hours, I'mma make it hotter
I'm sending pic after picture, I'mma get you fired
I know you're always on the night shift
But I can't stand these nights alone
And I don't need no explanation
'Cause baby, you're the boss at home
You don't gotta go to work, work, work, work, work, work, work
But you gotta put in work, work, work, work, work, work, work
You don't gotta go to work, work, work, work, work, work, work
Let my body do the work, work, work, work, work, work, work, work
We can work from home, oh, oh, oh oh
We can work from home, oh, oh, oh oh

A bee hotel? Careful, sometimes the complaints from your guests really sting! (Cue the sad trombone)

Good job! 👍 😊
Bee hotel? Where did you get that idea? Are the bees just going to show up or do you have to list the vacancy in the paper? 🤔 🍷🍷😎

Here's two workouts we do. Keep in mind, the things we base workouts on are rate and distance and the goal is to keep our split time as low as possible.

First workout, and I can't recall the name, goes like this: 8 minutes at a 20 stroke rate, 6 minutes at a 22, 3 minutes at a 24, 2 minutes at a 26 and the last minute at a 28. Rest 5 and do it again. You can start the rates at 18 if you want.

Next is a 10x1. Basically, you're doing 1K ten times at different stroke rates. Start with this: 18-20-22-24-26-26-24-22-20-18. Work up to starting your first K at a 22 and the middle two sets at a 30. Rest two minutes between each K.

The first one only looks hard. The second one is hard.

It is always encouraging to me to see people excel during difficult times. Nicely done!

I have a list of things I'dl like to get done.

I fixed my lap desk today with some hemp husks that my best friend sent me from Montana. My lap desk that I use for reading, writing, and my computer, was gradually losing it's stuffing, so the hemp husks made a good substitute.
Never having smoked pot, I had to go through the hemp husk and pick out all the stems and other woody parts. Ha!

I have some sea horse patterned fabric and some colorful cartoonish cat patterned fabric to hand sew masks, and should get on that, as in San Diego it will be mandatory May 1st when out in public when coming into contact with others.

I'm reading an interesting sci fi book, "Agency", by William Gibson.

And as always I'm also writing a short story about the Orange Blob attempting to rule the galaxy.

Tonight I made a risotto aí funghi nel nimby that came out fantastic. Something in my Italian language lessons tonight had me want to make it (I'm simply brushing up on it, as I'm fluent in that and Spanish, but teaching myself French and German, what can I say, I'm not bored.)

I should write a blog about my day but maybe tomorrow, I'll do it then.
Ciao, mi amica,
Kk

The observant make the best lovers,
I may not do right, but I do write,
I have bliss, joy, and happiness in my life,
Kitkat
