Those skulls and pumpkin are really neat; should have gotten that black skull for my osteology class.

you say that your summer of health is going swimmingly, and yet you haven't been swimming..... that seems a little fishy to me, thematically speaking.

happy to 'see' you back here again.

I'm a bit conflicted. I'm saddened by the knowledge of your struggles, but I'm glad to hear you are finding something positive. Enjoy your personal freedom to its fullest. Your friends and fans will be here if you need us.

I do enjoy these little insights into your life. Some I can relate to, and those I cannot are ones I reflect on and learn from. Personally, my divorce was a blessing and opened up a whole world of experiences and interesting people. It was worth the time it took to mend, although it was difficult. To say nothing of what I learned of empathy and compassion...oops, I said it.

Interesting that your "celebration" will be Halloween, apple bobbing and sampling witches' brew. Mine was Easter egg hunting and refusing wine i a chalice. Glad to see that life in quarantine hasnt gotten to all of us

I have slid from my "trying to blog at least twice a month" to "a few months have gone by since the last time I blogged" too.
But I am writing in my novel and it's going well, so I'm not really complaining.
It sounds like you are where I was about 8 years ago, and I wish you well in your healing from the breakup. And it sounds like you're dealing with the children in positive ways, also. So there is always that.

I'm plugging along. I don't understand why some words just disappear and which ones they might be, so that I could avoid using them but it seems like "it" and "there" are some of those words and I would really like to avoid putting myself into a tizzy trying to write around that.

Any advice?
