The stars on that sticker really lead my childish mind to funny places... no bullshit, you voted. Nice looking spread at your election ritual.... please feel free to mail me one each of those drinks

I keep trying to work out something clever about less being more, but all I can come up with is that I'd take Hemingway, and his end, before I ever pick up Dickens again.

Sounds like you got lucky with your vote, I had to wait in line for about 1.5 hours to cast my vote. But given that I had to wait 4 hours just for the primary I can only imagine how long the wait would have been on election day.

I'm glad you had an enjoyable weekend, I've never been to Durham. I've been around Charlotte and the mountains of NC, but I would like to branch out. Do you have any places of interest in Durham I could check out?

Double thumbs up on getting your vote cast! I did mine on Thursday when the early voting started. Even talked my mother, who hasn't voted since 2004, to come out and do curbside voting!

Also, gratz on the separation. So begins NC's archaic year-long wait before you can divorce. I remember being incredibly frustrated by the paternal attitude behind that wait.

Fantastic news. Bands, rituals, street art, AND coffee. Living the life!

It's a little damned-if-you-do/don't sort-of thing, too. It is making it damnably difficult to find boudoir photoshoot outfits now that I've officially won that shoot...I tried on ten things tonight at the mall. It was terrible.

I've never worked at a mall. Now I'm certain my life has been wasted.

I look forward to seeing the places you like. Maybe you can go ahead and send me your list and i can bookmark them on my map and strategize a plan. I did just remember that I've been wanting to see a NHL hockey game, 30mins away from Durham in Raleigh. I love the energy and fast pace that I've seen in minor league games, but I've never seen it at the professional level. Given that it's going to be a while before it's safe to even have a hockey season thats open to the public, maybe your list of places will be open by then.
