A Few Eclipse Views From Oregon

A Few Eclipse Views From Oregon My lives in Oregon..which was in the path of the Solar Eclipse's path of full totality. Here are just a few pics he sent to me during it. He was only using a cell phone. He wasn't able to get it at it's totality because it was too dark....that picture was taken from a newscast on TV.....lol The last two pics are shadows that were cast on the ground from the eclipse. Pretty cool looking!! Here in Philly..we're supposed to get 80% totality at 2:44 pm EDT...but it's rather cloudy right now, and not too sure what we may see. That's cool. It's reaching peak here in PA right now. Amazing how bright the sun still is, even though 75% covered. Maybe I'll plan a trip to Cleveland Ohio (431.4 miles) in 2024! (April 8th 2024) I could also plan to visit the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame if I go there!!  Or Rochester New York (340.7 mi). Be Honest..Be Sincere...Be REAL

I saw it, with the special glasses, and about 40 other people, at 92% totality. Way cool, but I only got pics of the "crescents in the shadiws". Waiting to get copies of pics of the actual eclipse from the photographers who were there. Thanks for sharing. Nice!! I was really disappointed that I couldn't view it....between the clouds in my area and totally dropping the ball with not getting the glasses!! I'm hoping to be better prepared in 2024!! May go to Cleveland to see it, and visit the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame while I'm there as well! And get my glasses way before.....lol  Be Honest..Be Sincere...Be REAL

Yes he did...he had the cell phone behind the special glasses. Those shadows were pretty cool weren't they? I wish I had of been out there to see it with them. It was cloudy in my area, plus I didn't have the glasses. I will try to be better prepared in 7 years.....lol Be Honest..Be Sincere...Be REAL

So confused: I got a notice of your blog post, which featured the solar eclipse. This is the eclipse from 2017, not today, correct? (Because apparently there wasn't one today!)
