Asking too much??? Not even close. You (all women) should expect exactly that much and more. First we must understand you. Then we treat you as you wish to be treated. There is absolutely nothing wrong with holding hands or letting your girl go to sleep on your lap. Tell her she is beautiful. Tell her how much you respect her, for who she is and what she has accomplished. Let her know you need her as much as she needs you. Treat her as you wish to be treated and all the other things us guys like from her will come naturally because you have learned to communicate on every level...honestly.

Well, I don't know. Rather that I don't know what to think or do anymore, had a good cussing out from a gal the other day for holding a door open and waiting for her to go through. Said something to the effect that she was very capable of getting her own door and didn't need an old pervert's help and a few other choice things on the order of that. In the last couple of years, have had a couple of ladies and after several dates with dinner, movies, etc, seems things were progressing pretty well and when it came to making some of the moves mentioned above, was flat out called to aggressive and a thoughtless deviate perv and told that that wasn't what they were looking for. Am guessing it was only the meal and drink tickets they were interested in, so have pretty much given up on things for the time being before I end up in jail. It is nice to know and see though, that there are still a few ladies that appreciate and expect things like that. Just seems anymore that they are far and very few in between though.

it is a time bomb , we have been beaten over the head for treating women as fragile and in need of help ,they call that sexist and misogynistic ,some women are militant against anything they perceive as being treated as "weak". no dear, low ,self esteem, immature, illogical, defensive reactions to a kind gesture do not make you a strong woman , they make you ridiculous , but we do not know which ones are , so we dare not treat any that way., You asked for no romance , no sweetness, no helping , and thats what most will get now , be careful what you let the media and radical feminist man haters rally for . I am a gentleman , but i will not show that in public ever now .

I am over 50.So there is no chance here, If there was, I would always treat a lady as a lady. I have always opened car doors. doors to restaurants. Using more than all the road!
