MONDAY

MONDAY OMG what a day. Had a spreadsheet due on Friday even went in on Sunday and still couldn't figure it out until I got some help this morning. Had reporting to do, and have always just followed the instructions, but being the curious sort wanted to know why we did it that way. Spent a couple hours looking into it and pretty sure we've been doing it incorrectly for awhile. Worked over lunch double checking something else someone questioned me on. Walked out to my car 45 minutes late and couldn't find my keys because they were sitting on my passenger seat. Called OnStar (don't pay for a subscription) turns out my car has been completely disconnected from the network and the only way to reconnect is to press the little blue button INSIDE the car lol. Call my mom, she doesn't pick up, she had turned the volume off last night when she went to church. Called my brother. He calls back an hour an a half later. Call my ex. He was awesome! Came and got me, took me home, got my spare, took me back. After today I don't think I need a hug I think I need a long hard spanking. I read a lot of profiles that are looking for a women without drama. I personally think anyone who holds a job, has a or family, probably has some drama going on. Tuesday has got to be better! I forgot the best part. Running so late, didn't have time to pick up crickets. need to get their homework done. Went in to grab pajamas and noticed my sons salamander has a frogs leg in his mouth. My catches frogs and things outside. So being a great mom I pour water on the salamander to get him to let the frog go. My will be devastated if he eats his frog and it'll be my fault because I locked my keys in my car. He kept pulling the frog around the cage so being the brave woman I am I turned the light off in the terrarium so my wouldn't see. Pretty sure the frog was a goner at that point anyway. My asks why is the light out and I said they need to rest. He's searching for his new frog,that he added on Sunday, and sees what the salamander is doing. Immediately opens the cage and rescues the frog. My 9 yr old the hero!! I ran and got a fish bowl that we stuck the salamander in until tomorrow so he doesn't eat any more frogs. To be continued... |

As the song lyric says, "Just another manic Monday." Perhaps you would be better off with a licking instead of a spanking.     The perversity of the universe is unbounded.
