Feeling good...

We all have things in our lives that really make us feel good...about life in general.
This is a sex site, so of course sex-related things are right up there on the list lol

This early evening, I am sitting on the back patio, looking out into the forest that is on two sides of the property. The sun is still several hours from setting and is sending rays of light through the thicket of trees.
I sit here, contemplating how I would paint that...what colors first? How to get those beautiful highlights of branches, individual needles on the trees? The detail of the bark on the trees. All the many colors of green and brown.

There is a six foot high wood fence between me and this forest. If this was my property and if there were no HOA rules, I'd tear down the wood fence and put up a cyclone fence or a chicken wire fence...something to see through...something that would disappear and let me see all of the forest, all the way to the ground. Sure the six foot tall wood fence is secure but really...if someone was intent on gaining entrance to the back yard via that forest, the current wood fence would not deter them. It's acres and acres of county land so no one is ever back there so privacy is not an issue.
What do you think?

Today was the first day that I have this place all to myself...well the 5 cats and our pit bull, Holly. I am retired so it's not like the week ahead where my are away is going to change my every day comings and goings.
But there is something to be said for the quiet and peace of doing whatever you want to do, when ever you want to do it.
I was up most of the night, reading, watching tv, looking at blogs here...the animals are naturally nocturnal so they loved it.
I have baked bread...made home made ice cream...toked on my pipe quite a few times...painted...did some drawing...other artsy fartsy stuff I won't bore you with.
It might turn out to be a moment of contentment time...not sure...it hasn't been a perfect time so far but I am a glass half full kind of person...always saying thanks for what I do have. And today is just the first day. I have 6 more to go
I do hope to get up the nerve to cam here again...its been awhile since I did that. We'll see.
I am going to watch a movie on my laptop out here on the patio when it gets dark...the temps have been in the 90's during the day so it's still very comfortable when the sun goes down. Feels a bit like watching a drive-in movie lol
sipping my iced tea, taking a toke, wishing you all the best ...or at least a snippet here and there of the best...whatever the best is for you.

There's nothing like peace and quiet.

nobody bothering you, makes life seem righteous at times.

Freedom is so relaxing isn't it? Just don't let the mosquitoes think they are the red cross collectors.

It's been cooler here- seventies. We sit outside every evening. Our dogs demand it!

I sit on my back patio and enjoy the woods just as you do except I have no fence.

Before I moved to Florida I lived deep in the woods going into state land.
I had miles of trees behind my house and I really miss it.
In the winter when all the branches and even twigs were covered with ice... and then the sun came out...
