Messages: 3x, maybe 4, and I'm out

Who here experiences this.......you message someone, they message you back....you reply, then they reply...this happens once again (and maybe a 4th) but then....nothing. That's it. Never to be heard from, again. No matter how many times you try to get them back involved into the conversation, they are gone. Maybe I said something gross: I apologize.....maybe I was too aggressive: I back off.......maybe I wasn't aggressive enough: I turn up the heat. WTF!!!!! 3-4 times and that's it. Just bait the hook for whatever reason, and then leave you dangling. This site isn't about hooking up it's about

 OK, so if it's not the case, as far as what I say, then are people so shallow that they can't come out and say at least " get lost", let alone "I'm sorry but we don't seem to have a connection". That's why I think it a site lead on. Only 1 person/couple has said after a bit " no thank you"
