Fakes and Phonies Once again my time was<b> wasted </font></b>not one but two men. I was taken in my conversation this time. First, there was someone who could not wait to meet me but was working long hours at a utility company I will not name. Finally after a month of texting the day arrived and nothing! He texted the next day saying there was some kind of problem. Taking the initiative, I said ok I am at work we can meet after I finish today. He agreed and once again nothing. Next, there was the man who sounded too perfect. The phone calls and texting were continuous until I said enough time to meet. I had to pick up a package not far from where he said he lived so there was no involved. I expected just a simple hello and let's make plans. I arrived an hour earlier shopped and picked up my package. I waited minutes past time and once again nothing. Oh yeah, there was a three but he developed a bad cold or something. At least I did hear from him. In the meantime, my vibrator had a malfunction and exploded yesterday. Just Me |

You waste way too much time texting and phoning. In fact, he doesn't need your phone number. You should NOT be giving your phone number to men you've never met. When you get man online, right now, that day, within that time period of the conversation , you make plans to meet him.

I don't know how any one that makes a date with you can be a no show. If we had the opportunity to meet after talking I would be the one to show up early in high hopes you would be there. I never did a no show , I say what I mean and mean what I say.

My gripe is the failure of the administrators on this site to remove fake profiles. I have supplied reverse search links to show the 'woman' is using fake, stock photos, and a week later, nothing has changed. The same profiles are added with a small change to the name, all reported, rarely removed. Theory 1: They just can't be arsed. Theory 2: They are too dumb. Theory 3: They are complicit It's hard enough avoiding the scammers, but wen you don't get any support from the moderators, it's like pissing in the wind. I'm going to sound old, but it wasn't always like this.

there are lots of fakes on both sides, the site has placed many of them all over the country, you could tell because the photo was the same and the name was a combination of first name, last name, number for example janesmith22, another give away is the use of the same profile statement with different photos or another was the same profile statement with a spelling error

I wouldn't do that. I have met many wonderful people here. Unfortunately, due to rule changes here, unless you are paying on this site, its very difficult to communicate.

Had the same problem this past Sunday. I had a meet set up Saturday night, and the person said to meet them at a specific location at 11AM yesterday. I get to that location, waited 90 minutes and they never showed! I sent her multiple messages yesterday, and she never responded to a single one of them and it's been 24 hours after...and she hasn't replied back to even explain herself. I used to ask for phone numbers so we could try to talk and then establish a meet. Heathen G is correct. Tell them you want to meet at a specific place at a specific time, and try to make it for at least the same day or within 1 week's time. So that if that person says "Hey I can't make it today, but can we do it for Wednesday night instead at this time?" If that person cannot commit to meeting within at least 1 week's time, they are not worth the time, UNLESS there is a VALID reason (car accident, family member passed away, SOMETHING SERIOUS to warrant a reschedule). But hey, you aren't the only one that it's happened to. Hang in there! You'll meet someone good! Who can you call on to save the day? Why none other than... Agent
