As was suspected yesterday, and now would come true - Warren has officially announced she is suspending her campaign for candidacy. Still no word on whether she will back either Biden or Sanders, or if either at all.

Supposedly - Warren finishing third in her own state had something to do with her decision to drop out of the race...

I read this and somewhere this past few days I had noted that even MA would not support her. Thanks for the update

I'm glad she is out of it... And pretty sad when you come in 3rd in your own state. Tells you something about the person

while in not a dem, im independent, there IS no third choice,
(the ONLY thing the reps and dems agree to work together against)
its only dems or chancellor trump in 2020.

its no secret that the reps and trump are afraid of biden more than sanders,
theyve even been working for sanders, and not always covertly.

warren isnt stupid, she knows the damns need to be re-unified,
and with the other elims going with biden,
it would make more sense if she does too.

"well only get through this if we work together. if we dont, none of us will"

I don't think the democratic party had any good candidate's this year. I'm especially worried about Sanders, free college, Eliminating student debt, housing for all, free child child care, Eliminating medical debt, Medicare for all. While it sounds great, it's hard to think a tax on the wealthy would cover that, along with other plans he has that I didn't mention. He is so far left, that he has other democrats worried. I can see the need for change, especially health care, and the price of college is quite ridiculous, but is free the answer? Raising the minimum wage is a great idea, it would help get working people get off government assistance, but it hurts people with small business. I'm not sure what the best way is, I just don't think free handouts is the right answer. I didn't even mention both Biden and Sanders would be in there 80s during there terms. That's a lot of stress and traveling for someone that age, I'd be concerned they couldn't even finish a 4 year term so yes change is needed, but in just question if they are the right good candidates to bring the change.

As I came to understand it, Warren actually had quite the reputation as a real consumer advocate.

It's just me, and my personal thoughts... But when I envision a Presidential candidate, I tend to envision someone fairly calm, collected, and when necessary able to imply great seriousness - without really raising their voice, etc. Those things are really just personal traits and behaviors though. Intelligence, experience, maturity, INTEGRITY, HONESTY, understanding/compassion, ideals and direction - are all also important things I would want to see in a candidate.

I understand - she may have some very strong feelings about some things. But the way/tone in which she went after Bloomberg just set me back from her a bit, and make me wonder if she had the temperament for the office she sought.

I don't really mean to pick on anyone's favorite. But Warren seemed very upset that Bloomberg was a many times over billionaire, and he was using his own money to run for President. Warren and Sanders both slammed Bloomberg for being a billionaire, when both Warren and Sanders both are millionaires.

Bloomberg took a good shot back at Sanders though, for being the millionaire socialist with three homes (One in D.C., another in his home state of Vermont, and yet another - a summer home on Cape Cod...) Sanders reply was much of well, it's a summer home, that's only normal... I don't begrudge any of them for being millionaires, and having what they have. But the implications of a millionaire socialist with three different homes wasn't lost on everyone...

How did Bernie and Warren become a millionaire? Capitalism. Ahhhhh, irony.

There is so much disinformation out there - from stretched truths, to just outright lies. It's so hard to know if you are reading or hearing the real truth.

It was during the last debate, when Sanders slammed Bloomberg for being a Billionaire, and in return Bloomberg brought up the hypocrisy of Sanders being the millionaire socialist with three homes, including a summer home on cape Cod - to which Sanders acknowledged, shrugged his shoulders, and implied it only normal...

Warren did have very good earnings as a teacher at Harvard. According to Snopes (Maybe it's truthful) "In a Senate financial-disclosure statement filed in December 2011, Warren revealed that for “2010 + 2011 to date,” Harvard had paid her $429,981 in her capacity as a law professor." It's said that pay was for teaching four semesters of one class, and any other duties she performed during that period there at Harvard.

I've found many other things, but I do not wish to repeat them because they are -very very- suspect for truthfulness. And I do not wish to spread disinformation. There's already way too much of that.

I do not begrudge Warren for earning that kind of money at Harvard. I'm sure a Harvard level professor has a lot of value and worth.

During the last debate though, Sanders implied earnings like that would be too much for one person to earn. Sanders said during the debate, that one-hundred thousand dollars per year was enough for anyone to earn, that two-hundred thousand dollars per year was -more- than enough for anyone, and that it should be illegal for anyone to earn five-hundred thousand dollars per year. And that anyone earning too much money should be taxed to the point of bringing their take home pay back into line with what is considered reasonable - I suppose under his terms.

i have to disagree with "Tells you something about the person".

i think she has as just as much integrity as any of the other democratic contestants, and obviously more than trump.

sometimes its only one issue that brings down an entire campaign no matter how many others you agree with.

in this country, sadly,
there are people whod vote for hitler if he came back from the dead,
if he agreed with their view on abortion, or guns, or climate change, etc.
