Don't even know her name.

Oh wow here it two in the morning, and not much going on, well that wouldn’t be entirely true. It seems while on my daily trip down through blogland right in the far corner something or I should say a person caught my eye. What was it her hair, eyes, the way she was posing, or for that matter was it listening to music from the head phones sparked the thought. Drifting back in time way back but it runs as vivid as it was just yesterday! Over thirty years it has taken me, a question that will never have an answer no matter how long this man walks on earth nope no answer at all.
Now you may ask what the question is and as funny it may sound. I wish I knew her name, but when it came to be I said I didn’t need to know it, so even now I must wonder if it was the way it should have been. How do you enter into a friend ship with a person, become the best of friends for a short period of time, one that came along put you back in tack, help you figure out everything that would cast me into the next thirty years., give me the courage, the will, the push to make everything a man could wish for to come true. .
Now I bet your thinking wow this is dandy talking about his better half. Nope not at all. It was a very fine lady I met back when I was engage to Snatch , will I was and I wasn’t for a short period of time. It was period of time of cold feet, lack of faith, or damn scarce to death that I would be responsible for another person beside myself. A very mixed up period of time in my life. Now I firmly believe if it wasn’t for the lady with no name I wouldn’t have had the pleasures of this life. The only sad part is now I have no idea if it ever worked out for her, and that sadden me some what, but with out a name I have no idea.
So here I sit in the dark, wondering if I should tell the story and by chance she may read this somewhere in the future. No telling if that may happen or not but by chance it would be one way I could thank this person for what her has given me. Or would it be just better to let go of it and just keep it buried in time. I do know there are a few things that happened between us that once read it would give her all the pieces in time and maybe that would be cool but do I really want to know her name?????????

 Thats the wonders of the world. The should I's, Do I's, Would I's...the best you can do is look back with a sparkle in your eye and be glad that you know the person even if there is no name attached.

Agree I do have a few wonders drifting by at times, the sparkle from my eyes you bet, I remember baack a year or two being on a trip at thirty five thousand feet above the ground and as we flew over the place she was off too back then i look out just as if for some foolish reason it seem the morning sun was indeed shining on her as it alway did. then reaching over and holding Snatch hand so tight as well. i guess that what we call old fools.

it worked out for you...as you and snatch both made it that way...

as for your friend i hope she knew how to make it work for her ..

There was so much that took place in that short period of time , and what every one learned and ecperenced from it. Maybe it just me wondering if she followed throught with her wants would be nice to know, as she too was in somewhat the same postion. The real understanding of it was more of a disection of what are freinds and making a choice of can your other half be your best freind and a lover at the same time. was money more inportant then love, did a relationship have a degree of freedom, or did you have to lose it.
I really have admired and took to heart what happened back then.I feel at that age so much is a battle we mite say how we mold in some way our destiny to be. Or it could of been me for the most part.

That I do my freind, it is funny as she had a stage name and even after two months of living together off and on, and then took her to the airport, it was on the way that she started to tell me and i made some comment that i really didn't need to know, that where we left it. I think our thoughts were at the time it was our way of moving on, and not falling backwards.

Oh that not true, it still hold alot of value to me of them times, what a blessing she was, not just talking about sex, the value of freinds, how many times when we were young we turn down sex with a freind thinking we could lose them. Wondering if I could measure up to Snatches parents, in wealth, what is a preson willing to give up for a lasting relationship, and alot of of thigns that took place then. I was in the middle of the Alaska Pipeline, and some very crazy place to be. met her strip club, well semi strip club, being proposstion by ladiesof the evneing any time you were down town, and a whole lot of lust mestery and comeing to terms with a set of value in the end. I may post some to read, as I think it does show some value i learn back then . bearly twenty at the time Thanks Dandy & Snatch
