The Hidden truth about a Rose Why is it always the rose that hold such power to love and so fourth. We give them to a love one, when we feel love, we give them to heal them when they’re in need, and we give them in celebrate of a new beginning and then once more if they are gone. True there are other flowers, but there is always the rose to appear and I honesty think out of every color and fashion it is the rose everyone knows. We use other thoughts to describe them. For example her beauty is so much like a rose; maybe the touch of her skin is as soft as the velvet texture of each petal. We go as far as to say how each petal connected reminds us of how our life intertwined with each other. And what can we say about color, Different colors that means different things to each of us .some like the rich red color, like the color of blood, or the bright yellow ones to make some think of the morning sun as it rising over the distance sky. Could it even be a white one that may be the virgin one, or the black one we find so distance. Then again far more colors are there, and some blended from gardeners over the year s to produce new colors. There is the smell of them that drift on the warm currents remind us of sweetness to be had found, sometime strong and yet sometime just a hint of it as you pass by. Think if you were blindfolded and someone pass a rose by you could you get a visual thought of its beauty, even if it was not a rose, only the scent persevered in some kind of bottle or a candle perhaps.???? There are ones that grow to the roof tops covering every inch, others that stay contain in smaller portions. Long stems supporting a big blossom and shorter one that have many small blossoms interchange between the green leaves to create a family of sorts. And last but least I came to where to me it has always been a part of the rose that I begin to think hold a hidden truth to. It is the thorns along the stem. Very sharp and painful they can be. What was the reason for them anyway???? Were they designed to be there so if you felt pain in your heart you could grasp them tight to make the pain be felt in your palm and not your heart? Could their use be there to remind you that no matter how beautiful they are, how soft their petals maybe, the smell that drift through the air. A few years ago I was attending a funeral. The casket was covered with roses and it even had roses engraved and airbrush onto it. Everyone was saying how the old man was being so strong and not even a tear he had was shed during the service for his wife of sixty years. But as I pass by and said my peace to him, I had to hand him a napkin, for the thorn of the rose he had been holding, left blood in the palm of his hand. You see I could have said something to the others, but like the rose I must just let the true beauty of the rose do its deed. Happy easter to each and every one of you. and by chance you are in the grasp of a rose, we're only thinking the best for you Thank you for your time as always and Monday is back to our story , being in that mood again. Very nice. but I must wonder at times if we should think of it as a flower garden , and we must seek out to find new flowers to place in the garden. brings new feeling of warmth and sunshine. Not forgetting to week out a few unwanted ones as well, and pruning others to keep it all intact. You havea very fine day Dandy & Snatch
