 The only thing I can think of this.

As you said men want to see those things, so to attract them some women post those type of pictures. Yet for some of those women the attraction to genitals is not mutual.

Some women, don't mind dick pictures, except for main profile pic. Some women don't want unsolicited dick pictures sent to their email or on IM.

Also with the sheer number of men on the site, they might just have dick overload.
