There Was A Time... I Rocked Washington, DC
For 27 years I lived in the Nations Capital area.

I lived in Fairfax County, VA just outside of DC.

Loved everything about the area except for the traffic. That 495 beltway...

This may have been the best place I've ever lived. If only they had the beach.

I'm so not into politics. So you'll never hear me talk about any of them.

But the Washington, DC area had so much more than politics.

I became so involved in the DC music scene. Playing at some of the cafes and clubs.
Best place was the original 9:30 club off of F Street.

I think the reason I'm writing about DC is... it crossed my mind that the Cherry Blossom Festival should be coming up soon.

It's so beautiful around the Tidal Basin area.

The museums along the mall area are absolutely wonderful.

Georgetown is also another beautiful area. Filled with restaurants, cafe's and clubs. I miss a place called the Bayou in Georgetown. That closed many years ago.

Just sharing some more of my past memories.
