The Worlds Fair and Expo '67

It's a perfect evening to just surf the web.

Checking out places I've been to when I was young.
Grabbed these two photos from the net while surfing.

1) The New York Worlds Fair in '64
2) Expo '67 in Montreal Canada

Anyone else go to either of them?

Have a great evening...

Hi Mike - But you're older than me.

I remember seeing a car that went in water.
A phone booth with a TV in it.

Thanks for the comment

Cool, I remember my grandmother had magazine reporting this time in 1964 was 7 years old

Rio flows in its bed and goes around with its waters!

In retrospect I would loved to have attended both the 1939 and 1964 NY fairs.

And I desperately pleaded with my parents to travel halfway across Canada to see Expo '67.
Instead I had to content myself with Centennial related activities in school and the local community.

You're a lucky duck

In 2002 I had the same kind of fear when the DC/VA/MD area had what was known as the DC Sniper. I was living in Northern VA just off the 495 beltway - Crazy times...

Hi Holly. Since I was only born in 1967, I did not get to attend either the '64 Worlds Fair in New York or the '67 Expo in Montreal Canada. I did get to go and experience the 1982 Worlds Fair in Knoxville Tennessee though. It was one of the greatest experiences in my lifetime.

Hi Scott - Thanks for the comment. I'm sure the Worlds fain in TN was just as good. I agree "A Great Experience"
