Woodstock '69 - Fifty years later It's so hard to believe that Woodstock '69 will be 50 years old this August. Being only 11 at the time, my folks said absolutely not, you're not going. In the late 70's I ended up working at a Recording Studio in NYC. Two of the three investors of the studio were also the ones who invested in Woodstock. They wrote a book called " Men With Unlimited Capital". I know some city (hopefully New York) will have some type of large gathering this August. I want to go... Pretty amazing times back then. We need more of that now. When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro. The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.

I was at Ft Monmouth NJ, my wife said if I went, she would not be there when I got back, I should have taken her up on that! They called a one week amnesty at the Fort because so many where late getting back, drugs, alcohol, sex.....but they blamed it on the traffic.......LOL! Some never did come back??????? What puts these times to shame is around a million young people, most in their teens, just Sex, Drugs and Rock n Roll and no riots, no knifing and no shootings! And the "KIDS" took a lot of their trash with them!! God Bess Woodstock....
