Hey girl, Those definitely were the days. I played ride trumpet with the UNM Fanfare Orchestra (16 piece wind orchestra). One of those wonderful memories....

sexy Holly, i think you have hit a chord with the Those Were the Days theme my first 8-track tape player i bought used and screwed it under the dash of my car, put the shelf speakers UNDER the front seat, went out and bought Steppenwolf Gold and Al Green Greatest Hits (remember people were busting out car windows to steal 8-track tape decks) dang heads did not line up good and often sound would get distorted ... i carved a wedge about the size of a match pack out of walnut, sanded it, put some finish on it, jammed it in above the tape till the sound came out right .. it worked like a charm ... yes, those WERE the days
