Thoughts and Feelings

I truly want to find happiness, been largely obstructed by social expectations, girls fears and lack of understanding. My appearance played a major role, people still say " no it isn't" but what am I to think. That being said 40+ years later I'm still trying, my montra is never give up. So I'll keep trying to find the one

 Of course ones appearance makes a difference. A big difference.

First find happiness with yourself. Nobody wants to be responsible for keeping you happy.

 Heathen gave very good advice, the only one that can make you happy is yourself, because people will disappoint you and you should never rely on people for happiness, what ever you do for your appearance do it for wanting to improve you for you
