Da Ghetto provides I've been a suburban most of my life, no problem with big cities or quiet country settings, just wouldn't wanna live there.  We all have our comfort zone. This holiday season felt abnormally hot and stjcky,lot going on in personal life but not a huge amount of gifts to get  Soooo. To inspire some yuletide cheer,I thought I'm gonna wait to Xmas eve after dinner to do any shopping, get out there during all the hustle and bustle, see if I can get into the spirit absorbing the<b> vibe </font></b>of all the others caught up in their self imposed panic and fears of not remembering everyone or getting the perfect gift before the clock runs out  Whatta stupid fucking idea, thank God for vicadon and alcohol or I never woulda got through it.  I've never seen such much trash cluster fucked together since I went to the county fair in West Palm Beach. Cretins and losers that couldn't even operate a debit card. And these were the cashiers  My 1st strike 1 was it started pouring rain as I walked downstairs to my car. Then U S 1 was jam packed with tourists and other rocket surgeons like myself but at least I had a destination and knew how to get there. These idiots weave and stop every 50 feet like they're drunk on top of being lost. Maybe they were, put the fucking phone down and drive, Asshole. Thank God for 9 inch nails and road rage too. Finally I make it to the Super Walmart just in time to witness what appears to be an imminent race riot. Cos wallymart is so famous for humane treatment of it's employees and family values like unsafe toys from China, they're closing the doors so the slaves can spend quality dysfunctional time with their families, if known  Strike 2. Now I have to escape the parking lot with life and vehicle intact. Cars darting in all directions now, people screaming racial slurs, hopefully they won't waste bullets cos they can't buy no mo til Monday monin  Do I break north to the suburbs where I know nothings open but I'll be safe. Or do I go dirty dirty south deeper into the cesspool jungle of Broward County, home to some of the best Cops episodes ever video recorded starring people I've scored drugs from. Something gotta be open in Fort Lauderdale I convince myself, the city of my birth is now a haven for Muslims, Chinese, Shabbat Jews and other mongrol tribes that have no qualms bout profiteering on a Christian holiday. Some may even look forward to it.  But the Lord or greed was with me that miserable night. Not even half a mile down the road a Bealls outlet lit up in a darkened strip mall like a beacon in the wasteland of Pompano Beach ,a town of no distinction other than 60,000 $ boats sit in the yards of houses worth half that much. After navigating another treacherous parking lot of aggressive drivers, I was in. I've never been so thrilled to be amongst kool-aid colored weaves, spiraling fingernails painted in glitter,huge asses in sweat pants 3 sizes too small and ear lobes reconstructed to accommodate bushings larger than the ears themselves as I was that night.  No strike 3 for me. 5 gifts and 15 minutes of waiting for the sole cashier to register a thug into the rewards program, mission accomplished. This emotional post got away from me a little bit so I'll leave out the part about Winn-Dixie and Walgreens.    Standards are people too.....kinda  |

Hahaha, when I see your pics of the beautiful picturesque town you live reminds me of crossing the state line into Maine. The 1st sign you see is Welcome to Maine. The way life should be. The older I get, the truer that might be. Just read your Xmas haul post, sounds like mine, lots of nice small gifts that show people know ya,no big extravagant gifts but that's not important which sounded like the jist of your post as well The Xmas dinner made the aggravation worth while. Missed ya yesterday baby, that's a great new pic. I always get your accessories wrong but that looks like a fur lined coat . Very Sexy if that's correct. Standards are people too.....kinda
