Balloon Ride

Balloon Ride

Early in the frosty morning
when the sun first<b> touches
</font></b>the sky with it's soft, gentle
light I begin my day's wonderful
work....

I lay it upon the brilliant green
grass of the field spreading it
out carefully as I inspect it and
then light the torch watching it's
merry glow as it slowly begins
to fill my brightly colored balloon...

I watch it take it's glorious form
admiring the many colored stripes
the reds, blues. oranges, yellows and
bright greens of my balloon rise majestiy
before me filling me with exhilaration
and excited anticipation of the coming ride....

Slowly I rise upon the cool morning air
tweaking the controls, adjusting levers
until all is just right....

I peer over the side and watch the babbling
little stream as it rushes on it's merry way
down through the fertile green valley...

I feel the cool winds kiss me as they slip
past my flushed face, the eagles soar high
above the lovely misted ground flying so close
that i can almost touch their wings...

I look upon the dark green pines upon the
craggy hills and I gaze in awe at the beauty
of the wild flowers blanketing the ground with
their blues, golds, purples and yellows...

And:
My heart becomes filled with a wondrous sense
of delight and my soul finds sweet serenity as I
glide upon the cool winds in my wonderful many
colored balloon.

 Sounds like a joyous Balloon Ride my friend..love this one so vividly written..
