Taking a vacation from sex can be fun

Sometimes I actually enjoy taking a vacation from sex. Not having to think about it. Not having to get myself ready for it. No pressure to be sexy, no trimming, no shaving, no make up.

Then when the vacation is over, its almost like going off a diet. I love the ritual I have to get ready for sex. I like to take my time, to get myself ready for my partner. I feel sensual and sexy knowing that the things Im doing will be appreciated later.

 But--but--but---how does one stop thinking about sex? I believe I have read a scientific study that reported the average young man (18 to 29) thinks about sex about every 10 seconds. As he ages, (30 to 45) the frequency slows to every 15 seconds. Over 50, it slows even further, to every 20 or 25 seconds. But for men, it never stops completely.

Women must be different. Thank goodness they are.

 Men don't take vacations from sex.
They're more like leaves of absence
or perhaps hiatuses.Mostly because
they have to ask,beg or plead for sex
and women don't.
