Monday once again.....

It was a gloomy day yesterday but I decided to trek out and at least try to get some fall color photos before they're all gone.

The gloomy day didn't do much for my mood, but it did get a few pretty shots.

Hope you all had a great Sunday!

Brilliant colors! Love the maples.

Nature walks are great. .. They can be soothing even on a gloomy day. .. I'm trying to soak it all in while it lasts.

Read my diary Journal of a Taxi Driver for taxi stories and pictures of flowers and trees.

Thought you might like the colors. I consider myself lucky to be able to live in small-town America. I'm literally 5 minutes, in any direction, from unincorporated land. Whether it be state land, farm land, or acres of trees....

those are really great shots. Love the fall colors. We don't get much red or orange where I live in Canada .. tend to get a lot of yellows.

There were a few birch thickets that I drove past that were predominately yellow. My favorites are the reds and oranges, though!

It's past peak already in the Gaylord area so I had to go up north around Harbor and Mackinaw. I thought for sure the tunnel of trees would be peak, but I guessed wrong! There is still a good week before they get their full on color.

The third pic is pretty cool

When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro.

The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.

I thought it looked kind of cool too. All of those trees had those grates around them. It was right around this point that my camera died and I had to take the rest of my pics from the rest of the tour on my phone.

we don't really get those colors here, they come much later, then everything is dead for 3 days, then it's summer again.

You are so lucky you don't have to deal with snow. By the end of winter I usually feel like Jack Nicholson when he's hacking his way through that door in 'The Shining'.
