Daytime talk shows? Yes please!

I have to admit, I'm addicted to the daytime talk shows.

There were many, many years that I worked a day job that didn't allow for me to be able to enjoy these things, I'm definitely making up for it now.

There is a benefit though!

I learned a new recipe on Rachel Ray today, definitely plan on trying it out tonight!

Wish me luck!

Update: don't want me to make the fajitas.... Cripes! Guess I'll save the recipe for another day.

 my son is pretty good at eating, he is almost 9, but he will eat whatever i am eating...but you know who has problem??? my hubby....ya...he is pretty much traditional, when it comes to cooking, and he won't touch any of the "Rachel Rae" stuff...in fact, i actually have her cookbook, but sometime i got to make two separate dishes for us...

Well, that kind of sucks! I usually end up having to make more than one version of what I'm making for dinner because my daughter is super picky sometimes. It's a pain in the ass!

 I like to make my own recipes, I make a killer dish called "Mama Del Stu-Dews Chicken". It's a fajita chicken, rice, cheese, black olive dish served on tortillas. I rarely make it now, my body doesn't handle high calorie meals like it used to.

We ended up making a version of it, no spices and only peppers and onions. It tasted 'ok' but I would have liked to try it per the recipe. I think I'm going to make it this weekend, they'll be at their dad's, I can cook whatever I want. LOL
