It's my 100th post already.

Holy crap!

I wish I had something earth shattering and spiritually enlightening to say....

Lack of sleep has left me in a stupor, though.

My was complaining of a sore throat and headache when I brought her home from her dad's house yesterday.

It was strep.

Since she was running a fever of 102 degrees when I took her to the doctor today we decided not to trek out and do any trick-or-treating.

I feel kind of bummed out about it, to be honest.

This was a perfect trick-or-treat year. Sunny, not snowing, not raining, not a complete misery to be on foot traveling from house to house, it had so much potential!

I ended up buying her a giant bag of candy instead.

She was pretty happy. Not only did she NOT have to work for the candy, I think she may have MORE candy than if we'd actually trick-or-treated for it.

Now let's just keep our fingers crossed that I don't get strep.

My boys were always super healthy. She has inherited her dad's bad health. He was a sickly kid, too, which is also where she got the asthma from. His whole family has it.

 I always get strep on Friday night and have to suffer until Monday when I can get a Dr. script. Which reminds me, I can get Amoxicillin from Mexico, cheap!

Her dentist will enjoy the trip to Hawaii you'll be funding

Lol she has a dentist appt on Wednesday. I have to call today to see if they want to keep it or reschedule it. Believe it or not, she hasn't had a cavity since she was 3.

 I get strep throat often ... I think I am a carrier, so any time my body gets run down, it pops up. So, I take extra vitamins and try to be really careful to not pass it on to my son when I DO get it. I can tell it is strep just by the taste ... have never been wrong. One time I got it so bad my throat almost closed up ... I make sure that never happens now. Hate strep.

I haven't had it since I was a kid, thank God. I remember how painful it was. She has asthma and allergies, so when she gets sick, it's usually really sick. This time isn't so bad, so I'm super thankful. The last time she had an ear infection it turned into a hospital stay with pneumonia.
