The long and short of it.

Over the years I've had long hair, short hair, in-between hair....

At the moment it's long.

Long enough, apparently, that I could get 3 inches and bangs cut off and nobody could quite pinpoint what was different about me today.

I was asked if I got a shirt.... (The shirt I was wearing is, in fact, 2 years old.)

I was asked if I got glasses.... (Nope)

I was asked why I looked different today.... (I said I was wearing fitbit.)

Which leads ponder....

If a woman's hair has such an important role in her overall beauty, how do things like hair cuts and color changes go unnoticed?

hmmm.... Hadn't considered that aspect of it all. LOL You are right.... I'll have to test that theory. I ordered some new bras.... etc last week, they're supposed to be here on Tuesday. I'll let you know what happens on Wednesday. LOL

I'm a lot like you.... I notice things. And, I tell people when I notice them. I think I just live in a world surrounded by people who don't care enough to notice the individual pieces that are a part of me, that don't listen to words or stories I tell them. On Friday I was moving around tables and chairs in the conference room when Nose Hairs popped into the doorway asking if "I was making all that noise". I just laughed and said I was setting up.... He then proceeded to tell me he had seen online that Sleeping Bear Dunes had announced the 5 free park pass days for 2020 and he was showing me the schedule on his phone.

I was immediately taken aback as he and I had had a conversation about Sleeping Bear Dunes months ago, and he remembered. The majority of the people I talk to on a daily basis forget everything we talked about possibly moments after it has happened. Either it's not important enough for them to remember or they were disinterested in the conversation... I know this because I tend to hear the same stories from the same people over and over.
