Someone park that struggle bus, I'm ready to get off!

I sure picked a fantastic year to work on being a better person!

I remember when I thought the pandemic and the shelter in place was causing me anxiety.... Add to that the depression of my Middle joining the Marines and...

Yah, I'm not doing so hot right now.

I'm not sure what to do about it...

Lovely lade, I agree with Tx - there are a lot of people here who are here for you. I look at the responses you received yesterday and today, and see a lot of love for you, heading your way (mine included). Keep praying, and we, your part time angels, will pray with, and for, you. and you never know when someone with a bit more oomph than we will send a little more strength your way.

Yeah, it's been a shit year so far. Here's a virtual hug... .... cause...germs. Don't wanna give or get any, ya know? Hopefully there's light at the end of the tunnel soon. (and another hug cause you're a wonderful person!)

Hmmmm....I know I left that wand around here somewhere!

I get it. I am in mask, eye goggles and gloves most of the day. It is hot and the constant cleaning stuff all day. I have no nasal moisture left.
Know that this will pass. The awful news doesn’t help. I do try to find comedy shows to make me laugh. Or get lost in a good book.

You poor thing Eye goggles even.... I know this will pass, I just sometimes get consumed in it all. It takes a new day and a fresh look at things to gain perspective.

I want to fuck you..to the ones you think attractive......... an all the time no one will ever know what your mouthing... we have never had that ability before...lol Plus there isnt a blogger here that wouldnt send you thier ph # as a person you could call at anytime you just needed to know there is people that are willing to just listen or talk an try to help calm down when needed.
I'm having a much better day today..... Yesterday was just a rough one, very stressful at work and a lot of people interaction, some negative. Sometimes, I feel a little lonely, and my daughter ended up going to her dad's house last night for a few days. The bloggers on here are all amazing people, and you are right, it's a tight little support group on here.

Hmmm.... I'm not sure what's worse on a pizza. Yikes, both equally wrong.

Funny but true.... Wearing the masks is causing me quite a bit of the anxiety I feel at times at work. You say breathe... When I wear those masks, I feel like I can't breathe, especially the cloth ones. They start to feel wet, and then I feel like I can't get enough air, and then my heart beats fast and I feel out of breath. Nine hours of my day, every work day, is spent struggling with mask anxiety and there is no end in sight as it's a requirement to work.

I'd suggest looking for a help line. Either in your community or online - where you can talk with others. Talking about it helps.
Are there support groups in your area or perhaps even your company has a resource?
We have all kinds of resources available to us, even my health insurance has made stuff available. Talking about it does help.....

i rely on faith and take it one day at a time it's all we really have .don't dwell on the past it is not coming back, don't worry about the future it will be the present soon enough , deal in today , help someone else and count blessings ,and express your feelings in a positive way . then do something you want to do and could not .my life just turned upside down but it was mostly my decision , not settling for being miserable and taken for granted ,grab for better no matter the outcome i tried something
I have lost some of my focus on the present... Not to sound super religious, or anything, but I pray a lot. This morning, I got up and felt the need to recommit to being a better person, the person that I know I am. I have not been kind and respectful to my coworkers and customers, I have not been thankful that I'm not struggling in the way that a lot of the people I encounter are, and I have been taking a lot for granted. Today, I'm working on being a better person.

It's all attitude, love. Keep hugging the little ones, and they'll help you make it through, as you help them. and I really hope "depression" is just a word. Our children all have to grow up and make their own way. Worry - absolutely, Sadness - certainly. But try to add in a little pride - you created a man who makes his own decisions. He will come out the other side (have faith in that), stronger both physically and mentally. What more can a parent ask for?
    Keep strong, and keep healthy.
Oh, I am so proud of him, there is no doubt about that. I only share the things, here, that I can't share in real life. In a lot of ways, this blog is almost a therapy tool for me. I think it, I write it, I release it.

i felt very optimistic about the start of 2020. by february i knew shit was gonna go sideways, very fast. and it did. it's all turned into a shit show. i want to say fake it til you make it. but then faking lasts only but so long. and i'm not good with faking shit. it's ok if you don't know what to do. no one does, really.

    hang in. and hang on.

I'm a fake it til you make it kinda gal myself.... Lately I've been telling everyone at work "we just need to wing it for right now until whatever happens, happens". It's the uncertainty of everything that is really getting to me.
