What could be more attractive than a giant bruise on my upper thigh?
It truly is a sight to behold....

All injured and painful, it's going to be a disgusting little sight when it finally starts to heal.

At this point... It hasn't even finished turning purple yet. I'm kind of afraid to see what it will look like tomorrow!

This is all Deputy Don's fault for putting 8 table tops on a cart and expecting me to hold them up while he makes a 90 degree turn into a door.

Of COURSE this would end in disaster with me trying to save them from falling everywhere.

Save them... I did not.

Everywhere.... They went!

Yah.....

What did he expect?? They weighed, like, a thousand pounds!

 It's only painful when I bump it on something now.... The healing has begun, it's not even warm to the touch anymore. It's getting pretty ugly now, though. Yikes!

Deputy Don is our Safety guy... And, I'm on the safety committee as well. Eeek! Yah....

Those are actually my favorite comfy jammie shorts. I have a special, beat up black tshirt that I wear with them. LOL Not sure how everyone else is, but my comfy jammies are pretty well worn.

I know a lot of people hate making out paperwork for work related injuries ( I’m one of those too) but while you may not get anything out of it financially or medically, it is very important for the company to know. What you described was a unsafe action by good ole Don. If he isn’t brought to task over it, who’s to say he doesn’t try it again and said tables land on a foot or toe and cause irreparable damage?

Eh, it's only a bruise. I've actually had paper cuts that hurt worse than this bruise does. As long as I don't bump it against anything, I'm ok.

Oh my goodness! Did you need stitches? I'm glad you're on the mend now... The fact that we have to eat and talk make a mouth injury that much more painful as your mouth is in motion quite a bit of the time. As for the peeling, you can always hide that from view with a mask now!
