In the moment....

So much is happening right now in a short period of time for me.

Middle has completed school and the graduation ceremony is next Friday. I am SO proud of that stinker!

That also means my time with him is coming to a close for a while....

So I've decided to spend as much time as possible 'in the moment', enjoying our precious time left together.

I will be back with my funny stories of workplace calamities and the happenings around the apartment complex, but for now, I'm going to be focusing on graduation parties and moments with my .

Until I return, Happy Sunday!

I'm curious how you'll use that time... (not that I / anyone needs an explanation).

The curiosity arises from my own experience. It took mom ten years to sit back and see me for the man I had become. Even though she always called me her baby boy

In the end she was impressed and our conversations changed from parent/son to peers - she was a smart cookie (a horny toad too) . The next twenty years were extraordinary but I had already moved away from home eight years earlier (escaping family chaos).

Eighteen may be too early ( it was for me ) but how parents see their children as they transition into adulthood can affect the child parent relationship as adults. I think she enjoyed seeing the gentlemen I had become the most - this was all her influence around this same age.

We are experiencing the same thing. Youngest graduated. Has been accepted the school of her choice. We are proud. Sad. Happy. Excited. An emotional roller coaster.
Good luck!!!

Have a great day! 💋

Enjoy your family. Family comes first. We will be here when you return.

The Light is shinning and she is lonely and waiting in the darkness.

Enjoy your family and focus on what's important, which is not this place.
