Mind''s Eye for me

I have been trucking for 29 years now. America is truly beautiful. Mountains, plains, and varied forest types. interrupted by the heavy traffic of all of its crowded cities.

I got this minds eye. If I am headed from Birmingham, Alabama to Cook Minnesota - I already can picture as I set out, the views I am going to see tomorrow. The Dells of Wisconsin are burned into my brain. One particular rock out cropping South of Tomah near Camp Douglas is a landmark for me.

The view even includes curves, ramps for interstate changes, plus where to stop to eat, and where my driving hours will end.

BUT, with all that highway sights and road knowledge -- If the wife gives me even 3 things to get at the grocery -- I go to sure write them down - I can't remember grocery list items for shit!

Nada! So, it is safe for me to have at hand a small yellow tablet for just that purpose. Bingo --Now I can go 8 miles - with a correct return.

 i bet you have seen so many beautiful scene...just be careful...especially, some of the area are buried under the snow...we have full of snow birds down there in flroida now...driving is such a pain, not to mention, they are raising the gas price....

Yes on the gas. Florida has awful fuel prices for trucks. Not to mention birds know just where to drop their stuff. Damages car paint.
