Debunking the sapiosexual myth

Henry Cavendish figured out the weight of the earth by constructing a device that measured the gravitational pull of the planet. Sir Isaac Newton created calculus on a drunken dare. Nicola Tesla made modern life possible by pioneering wireless technology and creating alternating current electricity. Other than being giants of the scientific community these men had another thing in common. They were all virgins. And this seems to be an common phenomenon.

According to The university of North Carolina for every IQ point above the average of 100 your likelihood of being a virgin goes up by 1.7 percent for females and 2.7 percent for males and since 76% of all virgins are male I'll be primarily focusing on them, Sorry ladies. Also those with higher intellgence who engage in sexual activities have sex less often than their normal intelligent peers and we don't know why. One theory is that males with high IQ's have low libidos but it turns out that according to the North Carolina University study males with high IQ's have equal or higher sex drives of males with normal intelligence. Then they thought it was hormonal. Maybe highly intelligent males have testosterone but according to the latest study from the University of Alberta after testing over 1000 men with IQ'S ovet 130 not only is high testosterone a present it seems to be necessary for super intelligence.

And finally there is the most likely culprit. Men who have higher intellgence are overwhelmingly less socially active and introverted and it's not in women's nature to be attracted to introversion. Also a women is turned off by a man who is smart but not doing anything with it. So it is not the intelligence itself that is the turn on it's the possibility that the intelligence provides. I have yet to encounter a true sapiosexual and I'm 100% sure that I never will.

When you debunk a popular myth you have to be broad. If I said that vitamin C does nothing to fight colds which it doesn't I can take into account every person that got better after taking vitamin C. I have to look overall and overall the higher IQ the more likely the person is to be a virgin. If intelligence was such a good trait to have to attract a mate this wouldn't be the case.

Also FriendFinder-x takes down my post when I give links so I didn't put them in just Google intelligence and sex.

I did prove that intelligence is a desirable trait in and of itself. Sapiosexuals are attracted to intelligence and many people claim to have this trait but I found that the higher the intelligence the Lewis likely someone is to have sex. I used the three examples for perspective. These men where changed the way humanity looked at the world but they couldn't find a sexual partner. Now look at athletes who have confirmed Social anxiety disorder like Ricky Williams married 3 times with 5 kids, Zack Gienkie married 1 kid, Joey Votto married 3 kids. Not to mention the unconfirmed cases that show traits of social anxiety disorder like Joe D'maggio, Michael Jordan, and Tim Duncan. If there's not only no equivalent phenomenon with another confirmed sexual indicator in this case athletic prowess but contrary evidence then the first phenomenon must be at best a extremely rare.
