 I read this and it sickens me. Several companies do this just like Burger King bought Tim Horton, which is registered in Canada to get a tax break. ANd of course, the little people pay

remember this every time you hear a politician say that they want to remove the foreign tax of US corporations. if they remove that tax, this will increase the use of off shore vehicles to hide US earnings. by having patents in an offshore subsidiary, corporations in the US pay US earnings to the foreign sub and get out of paying US tax on US earnings.
