I contacted site support about my missing votes and this was the reply I got..

Dear JuggsyMalone,

Thank you for your post. In our contest, members can only vote once on finalists. If they see another contestant that they'd prefer to vote for, they can change their vote thus removing one vote from the original and adding one to the new choice.

We hope this clears things up - good luck in the contest! You appear to be doing rather well!
