Nothing quite like Gruel and a Cabin Biscuit followed by a nice dip in the ocean!!!!

No wonder they needed beer to gain weight... That menu is scary.

Gruel!!  I used to eat warm milk and smokies for breakfast, or rathr, I used to get it forced down ma throat!  Cheese n biccies though, they ate like kings, for a wee while anyway!

With a light supper of gruel and cabin biscuits, you wouldn't have to worry about waiting an hour to go in the water. Pagan  Hmmmm....I know I left that wand around here somewhere!

No doubt some people paid some mighty fine tips to those who hours latter saw them in the lifeboats as the were floating about waiting for hyperthermia to take hold. Cabin biscuits at the time were used for clay pigeons, on shuffleboard courts,keep cabin doors and portholes ajar,poker chips in steerage until they found their way into the galley where a basket of gut bombs accompanied every meal along with the jacket potatoes that were warmed by the wait staff in the armpit of their jackets. " Hey! hey! Where's the Ice sculpture for the Astor party? RIGHT OFF THE STARBOARD BOW !SIR!!! Using more than all the road!
