Nice guys always finish last (The Man in the Dark) If a woman flinches when you reach out to embrace her, someone else's hands wasnt loving. If a woman questions you about something, someone else has lied to her. If a woman has a hard time trusting you, someone else has betrayed her trust If a woman has a hard time being loyal, someone else sold her out. If a woman has no respect for man then obviously she was not respected. If a woman has forgotten how to communicate, someone else wasn't communicating. And if a woman has lost the ability to feel, someone else has taken ability from her. When a woman is broken beyond repair, lt takes a certain kind of man to fix her. Men of this caliber are very few, and most of us are single. Thats where the expression "Nice guys finish last" comes from. Because we are the ones who are always in the dark, the<b> background. </font></b>We are the ones that nobody ever sees. When a woman has been broken to the point of no return, she will linger in the shadows. In between the light and the dark. When a man reaches out from the dark and touches a woman in the shadows, she's unresponsive and wants to run. The man in the dark will follow her. She cannot see who he is or what he looks like; but over time he will work on her. As time goes she will be a bit more responsive. If she still flinches when he reaches for her, the man in the dark will be patient, compassionate, caring and understanding. If this man has a strong mind and his heart is pure then thru his persistence she will slowly regain her confidence. The man in the dark will make her smile again. He will show her how to respect herself once more because he's shown her respect. When the time is right, they will both emerge from the shadows together. When she can finally see his face clearly, she recognizes him, she knows who he is. He has been there the whole time. Because all this time he's loved her, and she never knew it until now. I suppose the point of this post is this. Don't wait till your broken to the point of walking aimlessly in the shadows. Take time to notice those around you and appreciate them for their unique qualities they possess. William  If you say it, mean it. If you mean it, do it. If you do it, say it.....
