Many of us have been there too, we are hopeful since we were interested in this person enough to meet we should give him/her a chance. But, if there is not kissing, or any type of physical affection, or flirtatiousness before having sex, you pretty much have to assume there won't be much during. You need to be able learn to end the get together and leave before being disappointed. BTW this behavior does not have anything to do with being American, There are inconsiderate, sexually unskilled men of every nationality and ethnic group. One more thing...did you meet in a hotel room or somewhere else first?? It is always recommended to first do a meal, or at least a drink or coffee.
