Reflections

I have been a Gold member since 2008 and for about 5 or 6 years prior to that under another handle. I have never posted a blog but I feel I need to comment and express my opinion. In all my years visiting this site I have Never Ever seen such cyber bullying and overall disharmony among the members of the Mature Room.. It has come to the point that I do NOT feel comfortable visiting that room and only make occasional visits to the Love Doc room. There are some individuals who have made it their purpose in life to bash me,,,,,trash me,,,call me names,and ,,,even post nasty comments concerning my wife, and that was very soon after she passed away. It is beyond my comprehension to understand why this type of behaviour is tolerated. This site used to be a great place to undwind from the daily routine., meet people, chat, tell jokes and on special occasions make some good friends. And i have made a couple, that I do feel comfortable calling them a good friend. It saddens me to see what has become of the Mature room and I am considering cancelling my Gold membership after all these years. For now I have simply placed the cyber bullies in the ignore bin so I dont react to their constant badgering and name calling. When I use to see it I would defend myself in the open room and I could see that all that accomplished was to cause unwarrented drama in the room. So now I dont see it directly but I see the affects of their bullying. Lots of people I use to chat with do not bother with me anymore. And I have seen first hand that some new members accept what they say as fact and they wont chat with me at all. I know this may sound like sour grapes to a lot of people however, until you are the focus of CYBER BULLYING, then you really dont know how it can affect you. And for the record,,,,,,these people have never met me,do not know me and have no idea what I am in real life. I have reported them many many many times but nothing has been done. To those that do know me, this is why I hardly ever visit any room and I wont until and unless something is done to stop the Cyber Bullying.

 I'm sorry to hear that. But yet here it is three years after the posting, excuse me, four years and it still goes on to some extent. I just ignore those that are rude, and can be civil and polite to people even if I don't like them. IT was good to see you in there today, damn room was looping and reposting and I left.
