Off Script Yep it happened again, another stupid fucking actor who thinks they know something. Ryan Gosling (sorry girls) He supports his new movie about the moom landing where they left the setting of the American flag on the cutting room floor. What kind of an Ameri..., no wait he's Canadian! That explains his feeling that it was a human achievement and not an American one. Just like the ongoing trade talks they want the goods at our expense! Fuck you! No more! That's where all other Presidents were so tied to Corp. dollars they could take such a bold stance as Trump is doing. Baby duck also thinks Armstrong doesn't see himself as a American Hero. Most don't you mindless troll. He/they are Heros to we Americans, not the other way around. It's kinda like you saying somebody else's written lines and copying somebody else's deeds and you get a big chest over it. No you're just the smuck that stood there and repeated such, you just happen to be easy in the eyes. That will change in time but I fear your shit for brains will not sadly. It's not your fault really, I honestly believe that. You get enough people telling you how great you are etc. etc.. And after awhile you too start believing it too. Read the lines, then shut up and for Gods sake<b> shave </font></b>your damn neck Caveman. Those who can't grow a beard should not attemp to. |

From a very big Fan... Here! Here! You have just become my newest heroine, because you just hit it out of the park on this. By your age, you and I lived through the same era and what seems to be lost on those who were too young to remember Armstrong's landing on the moon or were born afterwards, it was a race. Called the Space Race. And only two nations were in it. Remember Sputnik? The Russians were ahead of us in the beginning until President John Kennedy laid down the challenge to the nation that before this decade is out, putting a man on the moon and returning him safely to the earth. In the end, we doubled that challenge and put two men on the moon and we did it first. And last, so far. No one has returned since and the United States did it. If Canada had been the nation who had, you can bet that the planting of the Canadian maple leaf flag would have been in the movie and rightfully so. But Canada didn't. The US of A did. Thank you for calling out Gosling for his ridiculous statement. Chuck Yeager has come out since Mr. Gosling's ridiculous (and I'm being civil) statement and has said that wasn't the Neil Armstrong he knew and I think General Yeager knows what, and who, he's talking about. I wish we knew each other, because you'd now be my new best friend. And you, my new heroine, just happen to be... easy on the eyes. Thank you.

Perspective: Ryan is an actor by profession, pretending to be Armstrong in a movie............Why are we listening to what he says when he says the moon landing was a human achievement? The concern is; Why doesn't the movie show the standing of the American Flag on the moon? [Since we beat the Russians there]. Historically , that's why we did it. To beat the Russians. Sounds stupid now, but in the 60's , it was important. Shouldn't CNN be interviewing the Writer, Josh Singer..... or , and maybe , "AND", the Director , Damien Chazelle? To get the reasoning for leaving out , really the whole point of the getting to the moon, because President Kennedy made it a "National Race" with Russia, to get there. The tearing down of statues because they offend some people is a mistake. So is then , the leaving out of standing the Flag in a movie that is suppose to portray a historical event of the U.S. Not a "Human" event. .......ha.... although from the perspective of an Alien spacecraft from a planet circling Alpha Centauri , Earth sending humans to the planets moon, is, actually "Human event". So maybe the movie is trying to be "Politically Correct"? See? This PC nonsense is a bad idea.

Apparently this heart throb de jour isn't very knowledgeable in history ( especially before he burst on the scene ). Historically when a nation "Discovered" a new land, they placed their flag and claimed the land for God and country. The USA did not do that rather saying the universe belongs to all nations. Thanks BJ for highlighting what an under informed throb de jour this guy really is. Wonder if he'll be around in another couple of years. Well done.

Hollywood needs to stop trying dictating how we should think and get back to entertaining. Most actors when taken off script can barely formulate a coherent sentence, yet they think they are intellectual. In the past I did not agree with policies/political veiws of some administrations, but I respected the office and used my voting rights for my voice. Today's political environment is unreal and those who cry the loudest are the problem, those who complain about the toxic environment feed it, those who oppose violence seed it....too much BS!! Sorry for the rambling.....
