Only Days Now As Christmas draws closer it's good to reflect on things, the good and bad. Days past and those yet to come. Sadly I can't help but feel our best days as a country are behind us. The changing of the rules and fact leading us to a dead end with no turning back. If don't have to get into the weeds to figure out way, it's there right in front of us. One of these is the separation of religion and government. The simple truth is original it just meant that government wouldn't also be in charge of religion, as we could follow or not follow as we like. This comes from<b> lesson </font></b>learned after Henry the eighth who put himself incharge of the church so he could pretty much do whatever he'd like. But now items of religion are removed and the mention if God is looked down upon. Hard to believe as they speak if God in most anything of worth, including our money. Upon the Washington monument on one of the peak side is written a prayer. Went erected it stood the tallest building in D.C. And on the East facing roof panel is were it's written, as it's the first thing the morning sun shines upon each morning ( back then ) they have a scaled model at the museum which they've turned away the face with the prayer, hiding it from the public. I'm not sure why we've let them bastardize religion but doing so seeds our destruction, self destruction. For if there's not a better place we work to get to, we will not become better people then was are already. And that isn't cutting it for us. Maybe I'm wrong but what if I'm right? |
