The View from the Decks

I had dinner with "The Project" on Sunday. She invited me to watch the Seahawks game and then have dinner. I know that I have mentioned her in posts, but that is how infrequently we get together. We have date maybe a year and had 12 dates with three of the sexual.

Over Labor Day weekend, we did a short backpacking trip on the coast. In hindsight, it was fun. During...well the payoff had to come sometime. It was an asexual adventure but at least there is one woman that can keep up with me on the trail.

Like all of my relationships with women, this is not completely a sexual relationship. This one more than others is less about sex and more about a connection....or respect. Unlike most women I hang with and love every moment, but sexually and not, this one is different in a way I can't explain.

We have had sex just three times (including this last Sunday). It is just not that important to her and I value her friendship and beauty more than I do sex with her.

This passed Sunday, she invited me to her house which is about an hour away. But if you understand Puget Sound geography, it may be 12 miles...but you can't get there from here!

Her house is on an island that over looks much of the south Puget Sound. Her deck overlooks the beach and the sound and she has great sunsets and a complete view of Mt. Rainier if the day is clear.

After dinner, we had long and many conversations about sex, relationship tapered with wine...much much wine. Soon the music was turned up and we were dancing on the deck overlooking the sound and all of the flickering lights across the water. Yes, the overnight invitation came and later there was sex, but it was this scene that made me feel like I was in a romantic movie and having a moment of a lifetime!

Perhaps it had just not been produced yet.

Netflix....Amazon....I have an idea.

It is all about attitude, approach and presentation! What is your AAP?
