Simple Abundance
This decided that 2018 was going to be the year I started giving more attention to paying down debt and decided to keep recreation and vacations low key. In keeping with that I decided that I would stay local and actually seek out new experiences in old neighborhoods if you will. So thank you for your company along my journey and thank you for reading my simple blog. It is not much but it is a glimpse into who I am and for those interested, just the tip of the iceberg

 Lovely photo. We are keeping it low key as well. We've been camping four of the last five weekends. Never more than 120 miles from home. Each time a different locale. Besides getting deluged this last weekend all have been grand.

Thanks for your response. I decided to add a mini-botanical garden tour to my summer plans as well but I'm finding myself out on the water almost every chance I get so I haven't even made one yet lol. Such difficult decisions when the weather is nice!

Thanks for your response and great eye. It is from South Shore. The weekend prior to taking the pic I paddled 8 miles from the yacht club down to just shy of the Cudahy Pump House. My target is Grant but I have to work toward it lol. I've also launched at Bender which is nice. Do you kayak?
