The ground must've been pretty wet right there.

I had seen similar plants while in Africa. Did not know MN had these.
The flowers are just so pretty and erotic !
Thanks for sharing !

Shady moist environments seem to encourage growth of certain species in the best of ways !!

I haven't seen Jack in the Pulpit flowers before ... are they native to MN ?? I agree they are strikingly beautiful !

DominantWoman100 replies on 5/19/2020 9:27 am:
Hi, yes they are native to MN but also across the midwest, they need shady moist soil to grow.

I love finding accidentals in nature.
I attempted to add one here the site is not cooperating or maybe it's just not allowed.

They certainly are... ! And I'd expect something to crawl up and slither through and around that greenery. Nice !

whenever I see one out in nature I stop and admire it. They have a very exotic form, like something from a tropical land. I think you're an amazing woman to make these the subject of your blog on this site of carnal horrors.

Thank you for that nice comment; I am trying to provide some visual natural beauty and scenes of peacefulness in this trying time. I know that when I go out into nature, I come back feeling restored and I'm just trying to share a little of that here.
