Our First Encounter

Another in my series of TRUE stories from my past

WE SAW each other in the produce section. You had a wry look of displeasure that upon seeing me turned into something much friendlier. You looked totally hot in your beach thongs, tiny Levi cutoffs and simple, carefree grey Abercrombie & Fitch tank top revealing your daring, erect, nipples. It was obviously you weren’t wearing a bra. I felt my manhood surge. The guy you were with looked pudgy and tired; brother, boyfriend? I made sure to get into the same checkout as you. As I stood close as your perfume sweetly teased my senses; I whispered, “I wonder how delicious you’d look wet?” You quickly turned to me in horror! Your blue eyes relaxed as they noted my leather beach thongs, Wrangler shorts and new Hawaiian shirt over my tan, fit, chest. My hands….yes, my hands…you could tell they’ve been used for fighting…knowingly you quickly assess I’m in martial arts as your eyes finally rested upon my friendly face, smiling. You gave me a little look returning you attention to the cashier. I approached you again this time “When’s the last time passion swept you into a totally awesome orgasm?” Trivial comments, I know, but you rewarded me this time with curiosity, confusion. Following you to your car I pressed a hasty note into your hand. You flashed a knowing smile. days later you called. Our year-long affair ended suddenly. It was a long time ago but I still miss you, babe.

TRUE story. Redondo Beach, 1978
