WTF are we paying for this for?!

WTF are we paying for this for?! I've been on and off as a gold member for some time. I've written queries, questions and complaints to the service department regarding this. As most of us are aware, FriendFinder-x is part of a larger friendfinder network, none of which merge a users profile. i.e if you go to log into NSA hookups or Alt then you need to create another account. All of which use pretty much the same interface, I've been on Alt for a fair while and I've checked out a couple of the others. In the SEVERAL YEARS (yes, shouty caps) that I've been a paying member and asked for the network to fix things like the IM. We all know the IM on this is rubbish. Somedays it will let you send messages then suddenly stop delivering them, somedays it wont deliver them at all. Then you accidentally refresh the page and all your conversation is wiped (particularly on mobile devices) On that note, if you do happen to use a web browser on your phone to check in you have to open a profile twice to get the right description for the user as it carries the last profile you visited. I have no doubt that the friendfinder network is the largest worldwide network for adults. As a paying member you still get hounded by 3rd party advertisements and cam shows shoved in your face. Sure there are genuine members here but I don't feel we pay for advertising. I get "sex sells" otherwise none of us would be here. As a company terms of use etc. against solicitation of other websites, scamming etc. yet I know of 4 "Confirmed" profiles that are soliciting 3rd party<b> webcam </font></b>sites. Likewise I'm sure everyone has started talking to someone and then found out they're actually in Africa and just want your credit card number. So you live in Australia but happen to bank with Lloyds of London...right, sure I'll give you my bank details(sarcasm). I can remember one update of this site in the last ~6 years. That's a long time of nothingness with a lot of paying members, from a lot of countries. All I see is money going into an endless pit. We are customers and are paying for a service. A service they (friendfinder networks) are not providing. I hope this blog gets shared around, linked to whatever enough so that enough voices turn my whisper into a shout to wake up the company to some serious improvements. |
