>>I won't even ask WHERE you found that song ...? 😁 Trip Shakespeare was a Twin Cities band during the late 80's/early 90's. They had some weird and quirky songs (another one was "Toolmaster of Brainerd" which was about the guy who maintained the machinery at the Buckeye Creamery). I really liked them. One of the Trip Shakespeare members, John Munson, is now in a band called The New Standards - they do jazz versions of different pop/rock songs. The New Standards put on a huge holiday concert every year, and the finale is always the song Snow Days, complete with snow falling from the ceiling. I'll check them out. I love different bands and groups and music, so that's right up my alley.... Did you hang out with the Beetles? I think I've seen you in pictures with them... I developed a love for words and the English language at a very young age and became a crossword puzzle and the 'word power' quiz in Reader's Digest junkie. I also read voraciously and continue to check-out 10-12 books with each trip to the library. So yes....I was familiar with the 'new' words in your story. Christmas songs like 'Merry Christmas Darling", 'I'll Be Home for Christmas' and 'White Christmas' are amongst my favourites. However the one that 'gets' to me each and every time is 'O Holy Night' sung by a tenor in church. Silent night my favorite and I really like all Christmas songs. Just makes me feel very warm inside. I enjoy old Christmas classic movies too.

Well, I have been basically sick in bed since last Sunday. Now finally edging my way back into the 'land of the living'. All three songs in this blog, grate on my nerves. I don't really hate, Christmas songs, it's just that I find that they play the same songs over and over again on the radio stations here, until I get sick of them. I will admit that although I like Paul McCartney, his Christmas song grates on my nerves.... I really like the old Christmas songs from back in the day. Bing Crosby for sure. A: ... Yes it .was indeed a quiet night until the fireworks was set off just after midnight by some whacky neighbours lol. Scared the daylights out of my dog who went into hiding. Canada lost against Russia, So they will regroup and play against Finland on Wednesday in the qiarter-final knock-out round. Today, no special dinners like when my parents were alive. I will be posting my Time for Reflection entry on my blog.

It was disappointing. It never should have gone to OT. Nope, a 7-game series wouldn’t have made a difference with this year’s team. Their power play sucked. Oh well... just a fan, not personally affected. Life goes on!

You. are right, life isn't a game. And isn't laughter the best medicine? Can't imagine life without it or with not being able to smile, even through the tough times. And using a phone, isn't the only way to communicate. It does for me... I need more than this. It's just my pov. There is a place for picking the face of a keyboard or swiping a phone screen... Yeah. I think I spoke out of turn by misleading you into thinking I enjoy playing word games. The games I was referring to, are usually played in the bedroom. So... proximity, is kinda important. You know what I mean? 🤔
