'passable' crossdresser Standing at the threshold of a typical house, on a typical afternoon, feeling anything but typical, a woman hesitates to venture outside. Despite her strange fashion, she seems ultimately plain, albeit tall. Her hesitation is a consequence of being born and raised as a man. Although it would not be obvious at first glance, this 'woman' was at one point an athlete, a hunter, a waiter, a fighter, a lawn care worker, and a number of other fruitless professions. In her current situation, she is unemployed. Apparently, she's "cute", which is a matter of debate, since such things are subjective in nature. She caresses her face, the softness distracting her for a moment. It's strange to be soft, it's tough to be tender. Touching her hair, she reminds herself of how long it took to grow, of how she always wanted long hair. Stepping outside gets easier over time, yet those momens in front of the door always seem to linger. She laces her<b> boots </font></b>, frowning her lips at the size of her feet before stepping outside. There's never cool shoes for big feet that don't cost an arm and a leg. Walking about town is now a strange feeling, the surroundings look as they always have, she's the one that's different now. The way she's treated by others has changed too, men hold the door for her, women approach her more openly, and occasionally, there's the odd would-be suiter. Men often explained things to her she already knew, people stared at her figure, at her face, and make her nervous. All the changes perplex her mind to no end, overwhelming her with a new world, which looks the same as the old one. Gender is a mind bender. |
